The Learning Workshop and the Indigenous Art Code have partnered with Indigenous artists, performers and documentary film directors to develop an online resource to help Indigenous artists understand and use the Indigenous Art Code.

The resource includes film, animation and multimedia material designed to assist artists with issues such as pricing and selling art, Copyright, contracts, negotiating sales, inventories, art stories, payment options and where to get help. The material is framed around the Indigenous Art Code (a voluntary code which was established by the Australian Government and funded to protect the rights of Indigenous artists in the commercial art environment).

Indigenous Governance

Indigenous Governance is a FREE interactive WEB resource designed to introduce learners to the communication skills used by directors of Indigenous Corporations. The resource also supports the unit BSBATSIL411A Undertake the roles and responsibilities of a board member.

Indigenous Governance uses film and multimedia to introduce the many responsibilities of directors of Indigenous Corporations and highlights the literacy skills they contain. A narrator guides the learner through the content and activities, whilst filmed scenarios highlight information, directors discuss their experiences and interactive activities provide skills practice.
